FAQS
Once you’ve provided the required details, your application to form a company is submitted electronically for you. To form a company with us, there’s no paperwork to print and nothing to sign – everything is done online.
Our formation prices include the Companies House formation fee, so there’s nothing further to pay.
Subject to Companies House’s workload, your company should be formed within 1 working day so you can get trading quickly.
The registered office address is the official address of your company and will appear on the public record at Companies House, so anyone can see it. In addition, all formal mail from Companies House and HMRC is sent to this address. It needs to be a UK address so if you do not have a UK address available then you will need to use the registered office service
Once your company has been formed, we’ll immediately email you all your important company documents, including:
- Certificate of incorporation
- Memorandum of association
- Articles of association
A share certificate is a legal document which demonstrates that a person is the registered owner of shares in a company.
With all our formation packages, you’ll get a digital share certificate for each shareholder.
Each share certificate includes the following information:
- Company name and registration number
- Certificate number
- Name and address of the shareholder
- Issue date of the share(s)
- Number of shares issued
- Type or class of shareThe extent to which the shares are paid up (usually shares are fully paid)
An initial meeting of the board of directors will be held, in which a number of important decisions are made. Like all board meetings, a minute should be produced to document outcomes which are reached and actions that arise.
This is a Word version of the minutes of the required first meeting, pre-populated with all available details and including vital first board resolutions. You can then easily further amend this document to match your own circumstances.

You require a trading address in the UK to get VAT registered. Generally, UK resident entrepreneurs use registered office address for company documents while use their personal address as trading address.
The registered office address service only forwards on formal mail from Companies House and HMRC sent to the registered office address. But if you also select the trading address service, all mail sent to the registered office address will be sent on to a forwarding address you choose. Mail will be forwarded for one year.
This service may be particularly useful if you want to keep your own address private even from the people you do business with. It gives you the appearance of trading from a London or Edinburgh address.
A company must register for VAT if its turnover is expected to exceed £83,000 in the next 12 months. Some companies with lower turnover still opt to register voluntarily for VAT.
Ensure your application is in line with HMRC’s requirements with our VAT registration service. This will reduce the likelihood of rejections and delays as our team of experts will ensure your application is correct and complete.
Once the company has been formed we will send you by email the VAT registration form to complete. Once you return it to us, we’ll check the form before submitting it to HMRC. Once HMRC approve your application, you’ll receive a VAT Registration Certificate. You’ll then need to liaise directly with HMRC to file VAT returns and pay any amounts as they fall due.
We will process all applications as Standard VAT Applications.
